Auction SOS Questions 1

Auction SOS Questions

Auction SOS

1. Is this a one-time purchase or a monthly fee and what will it cost?

This was, unsurprisingly, the most asked question I received from you! A lot
of you were asking if it would be a one off fee or a monthly subscription. I
will be the first to admit that originally I was thinking of going down the
monthly subscription route, afterall, other similar applications charge a monthly
fee so why shouldn`t I?
Luckily for you I changed my mind. I`m not too keen on products that charge
you a monthly fee to use them so I`m guessing you are the same as me? That`s
why I have decided to sell Auction SOS for a one time fee, I won`t reveal the
price to you just yet but I can tell you that it will be UNDER $50 🙂

2. Will this install anything that my anti-spyware will detect?

This was another popular question which surprised me somewhat. I can reassure
all of you that there is 100% NO ADWARE OR SPYWARE included in the Auction SOS
software. When creating the software I tried to think what I would like and
dislike. I would definately dislike any software that contained adware or spyware.
I am proud to say that Auction SOS will contain no adware or spyware.

3. What space doest it take up. Will it effect my computer operation
in any way?

The installer for Auction SOS is under 1MB in size so you will have no problems
installing it on your computer. It won`t effect your computer operation in any
way. When running, Auction SOS uses up around 20,000 k of memory. To put that
into perspective, it is about the same amount of memory that MSN Messenger uses
when running on your PC. It uses significantly less of your system resources
than Internet Explorer, so you may even see that your system runs better when
using Auction SOS compared to using IE!

4. How long does it take to bring back search results and how many
results at one time?

The time it takes to bring back search results depends on the speed of your
internet connection. Auction SOS has been extensivly tested on a number of different
internet connections and there has been no significant difference in the time
taken to return results. On a typical 2MB broadband connection it takes around
2 – 3 seconds to return 100 results, on a 1MB connection this takes around 3
– 5 seconds. The only noticeable difference is if you are using a dial up connection.
Obviously, these are only rough estimates, other things will also impact upon
the speed of bringing back results, such as the number of searches you ask to
return, whether your internet connection is in use for another program etc.,
etc.

To answer the second part of the question about the number of results returned,
this is fully decided by you. For each search you can choose the number of results
to return, the default is set at 50 but you can set it as whatever value you
like; 500, 1000, 2000, or 15,938 – the choice is yours!!!
